I offer counselling sessions in-person in Bristol and Clevedon, as well via online video and telephone. Currently I only work with adults (18 years old and over).
I do offer concessionary rates for individuals on low income, benefits, state pension.
Short and Long term Therapy: This is very much up to you and what your needs are.
If shorter term therapy (10 to 20 sessions) feels right for you, we can set a fixed amount of sessions at the start, and then review as we get close to the end.
If you feel longer term therapy (over 20 sessions) is what you require, we can leave things open.
In both cases we can build into our counselling agreement that we review progress at regular intervals, for example every 4 sessions.
Frequency of session (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly etc.): How often we meet is very much related to what is realistic for you and your life. I am open to working at a frequency that suits you. I have found that meeting weekly, particularly in the initial stages of counselling (first 6 to 10 weeks) aides the development of the working relationship. Again we can regularly review what frequency best works for you.

Single session therapy is for anyone with a specific area of work that just one session will help with. It is important to note that further sessions are available if required (subject to availability of session slots). The single session is online only.
